In outwitting these proposals the foxenon pointed out that the

reprovision of the Sai Kung Road, which

would have to be diverted if the scheme went

through, "it was understood that the cost of

this road was already included in the

estimated total of $250,000".

5. The proposed extension was not

proceeded with at the time as the Air

accept liability for Ministry were not prepared to assume the

whole or any part of the necessary

additional expenditure, nor to modify the

contribution already agreed in the light of

the altered circumstances mentioned in

paragraph 1 above
